Art for Autism (AFA) 2016 is just around the corner! The Gala Auction, Dinner and Dance will be held Saturday, October 1st at the beautiful Four Seasons in Downtown Seattle. With stunning views of the Sound and the Seattle skyline, it is a magnificent setting to celebrate and support the work, cause, and mission of NBA. Our theme this year is “Glitz, Glamour and Gatsby”- this evening promises to be dazzling, and will highlight the extraordinary work of NBA staff, and the real and significant difference they make in the world of each child they serve.
Come for the gorgeous setting, the fantastic food and music, the amazing array of items, and the shared purpose, as well as the company! This event is a great way to meet and connect with other NBA parents, friends and community supporters. This year, we are offering several fun options:
- If your sweetie can’t make it, request the “girls’ night out” or “guys’ night out” table.
- If you and your partner want to connect with other NBA parents, request the “Date Night” table.
- If you want to join our team of volunteers, we welcome you with open arms! Simply email Deanna Neher at Jdneher@frontier.com for open positions, and to get connected! This includes volunteering before the event takes place and/or during. We thank you, in advance for your support!
The evening will kick off with our Silent Auction, as guests gather to enjoy wine and appetizers while they shop. A delightful array of items will include beautiful artwork, wonderful activities for adults and children, restaurant gift certificates, theater tickets, themed baskets, and many more unique and delightful pieces, donated by local businesses, the community, and cause supporters. Are you feeling lucky? Your odds just got better! This year we are offering just 100 Golden Tickets. Each ticket has a one in one hundred chance of winning any item in our live auction. Stay tuned for the next Newsletter which will include a sneak preview of hot ticket items to pick from! The evening will then progress with dinner served in the elegant main ballroom, which will feature an exciting live auction. For those who wish to continue celebrating on the dance floor, there will be live music by NBA’s favorite band, the Pontunes.
