NBA Adds 2 New Behavior Technicians

Deb Henderlight and Meigan Luong are NBA’s newest Behavior Technicians. Henderlight, a Tennessee native, moved to Seattle in 1996 and joined the Lake Washington School District as a special education para-educator in 1997. In 1999, she was introduced to NBA through one of her students. While serving as his para-educator for 10 years, several Program Managers helped train her in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Henderlight worked with another NBA client for nine years before joining the BT team in January.

Luong, a Renton native, recently graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In May she will receive a bachelor’s degree in human development.  She is the 11th WSU student to intern at NBA. Luong is working with the Community-Based Intervention program and with one-to-one learners.  She hopes to use the experience gained through her NBA internship to pursue a master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling.
