Another new school year is upon us! As we head into September, we have several exciting announcements to make! NBA’s new affiliate center, The Star Project, is opening this month in Amman, Jordan. As you might imagine, high-quality ABA services in the Middle East are difficult to find. We are thrilled to be able to offer first class services to children and families who so desperately need it. The Star Project will initially serve approximately 10 children and families in Amman, and will continue to expand as we train providers.
Closer to home, we are very excited to announce the addition of a new Program Manager and Community Based Instruction Assistant, Amir Shabaneh. Amir was originally hired as a tutor in May of 2013, and we are pleased to be part of his continued growth as a behavior analyst. We are also welcoming back Program Manager Amanda George-Ray. Amanda has been on maternity leave this summer and we are happy to have her back!
Yet another new development in our home office; we have expanded our office space to accommodate the growth of our Community Based Instruction Program. Next time you are at our office, take a peek into the room just to the right of the first set of doors. This new space will soon be home to CBI and pre-vocational skills training. As our learners get older, we’re doing our best to grow with them and prepare them for real world community and job skills!
If you haven’t already done so, please follow NBA on our social media sites to keep up to date on all of our fun family and staff activities. Links for the sites can be found within the newsletter.
Hoping that everyone has a wonderful start to the 2015-2016 school year! As always, thank you to our amazing supporters and families! We couldn’t do what we do without you!
