Tutor Program Update

This Summer, NBA has welcomed three new tutors to our family –Briana Paul-Freeman, Sierra Nolan, and Angelica Suarez! Briana comes to us with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound, and has extensive experience working with children with autism one-on-one, in small groups, and in the school. Sierra and Angelica are both WSU students who have/are currently using NBA as their practicum site to earn credits towards their degree in Human Development. Along with their training and one-on-one work with their own students, they have been participating in our Small Group Intervention and Community-Based Intervention activities, in order to get a broader experience at NBA.

Finally, we are very excited to welcome home Jenny Hill! Jenny interned with us last summer while she was earning her degree in Psychology from Oberlin College. She has now graduated, and has previous experience working with children as a therapy assistant, assistant coach, and tutor.

We are thrilled to have Briana, Sierra, Angelica, and Jenny on our team at NBA! Should you, or someone you know, be interested in a tutor position, please send resumes to: ccosser@nba-autism.com, or call me at: 425-822-6442 extension 112, with any questions you may have.
